FAQ - Vin's Answers
Do I have to come in person?
Not at all. If you’re local, you’re welcome to come to my dedicated guitar studio for face-to-face lessons. If you’re further away, we’ll connect online via Zoom (or another streaming service you’re comfortable with). Both options give you the same personalised teaching and feedback.
Do I need special equipment for online lessons?
No fancy gear required. A guitar, a device with a camera (laptop, tablet, or phone), and a decent internet connection are enough. A pair of headphones can make things clearer, but they’re optional.
What if I’m a complete beginner?
That’s fine. The course is about learning how to practice, so it works for beginners, intermediate players, and even advanced guitarists who feel stuck. We’ll start from where you are.
What if I’ve been playing for years?
Perfect — this course is designed to help you refine your practice habits, fix plateaus, and finally unlock the progress you’ve been looking for.
How long are the lessons?
Each lesson is 45 minutes. That’s enough time to learn new ideas, try them out, and leave with clear steps to work on.
What happens after the six weeks?
By the end of the course, you’ll have a practice toolkit you can use forever. Some students stop there, others continue with ongoing lessons to go deeper into songs, styles, and techniques. It’s up to you.
Future Proof Your Guitar Practise
Getting a practice plan is only the beginning. The real progress comes from staying on track—because no one gets everything right the first time.
That’s why Vin offers follow-up sessions to check in, review your progress, and fine-tune your plan. Think of it as course-correction: we’ll make sure your technique and habits stay on target, and we’ll adjust as you grow.
This way, you’re not just fixing today’s problems—you’re building a practice routine that works for you long term.
Ready To Transform Your Practise?
Studies show that 90% of musicians practice in ways that don’t actually stick. Are you one of them?
Vin prefers to chat to every student before any sessions are booked. This means he can help all guitar students understand the learning pathways ahead of them and make a rough pencil plan.
If you'd like to talk to Vin about your practise challenges, please do get in touch - He'll be happy to help.
