1.0. Operational Notes

​

1.1. Appointment Cancellation or Rescheduling

Vin Leone Guitar Tuition [also referred to hereafter as ‘we’, 'us' or 'our'] requests a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to the booked appointment before a rescheduling or cancellation request is made by the client [referred to hereafter as ‘you’ or ‘your’]. This is so that the appointment can be offered to other clients, and minimise the risk of lost income.

If a rescheduling or cancellation request is made less than 48 hours before the appointment, or if the appointment is not attended, you will be charged the full, quoted appointment price.

​

This policy also applies to pre-paid appointments - they cannot be rescheduled or ‘bumped’ without 48 hours’ notice.

​

Please note that we are open for business as usual on Bank Holidays. We will let you know of any planned business closures which might conflict with an appointment.

​

1.2. Lateness

If you arrive late to your appointment, Vin will complete as much as much of the lesson plan as possible within the allocated time. He may have to adapt the lesson plan to prioritise core areas of focus, if time-limited, but will always endeavor to do his very best for you.

​

We understand that life is unpredictable and traffic happens, but please plan ahead to avoid delays wherever possible.

​

1.3. Marketing

Any photos or videos obtained during the appointment can be used for marketing purposes, unless you request otherwise.

​

Any kind words may be quoted on the website or social media pages, unless we are otherwise requested not to.

​

1.4. Parking

Parking is available on a first come basis within a parking space identified by the letter Q (Quakers)  There are two spaces directly to left as you drive in to the car park. One of these spaces is disabled use only, the other is often free for Q parking.​

Cars and belongings are left at your own personal risk.​​

2.0. Payment​​

2.1. Payment Due

Please arrange for payment for each lesson, product or other service by midnight on the day of the appointment.

​

Bank transfer or cash payments are accepted.

​

Automated payment reminders may be sent from the booking system.

​

3.0. Health & Safety

We are operating a small business from our family home. As such, every effort is made to keep the space as safe as possible for everyone.

​

Please note that Vin Leone Guitar Tuition and/or our family cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury or other incident that could occur within the property boundaries.

​

Please closely supervise young children, in particular around the pond in the front garden.

​

3.1. Fire, Flood or Other Emergencies

The property has Fire and Carbon Monoxide Alarms, which are regularly checked. The music studio, where lessons are held, does not contain a source of carbon monoxide production. There is a negligible risk of electrical fire.

​

In the unexpected event of a disaster (such as fire or flooding), please evacuate to the car park via the side of the property.

 

Please do not smoke within the property boundaries.

​

3.2. Allergies

Any known allergies to food, environmental elements etc. which might be present in a home must be disclosed at the time of booking the appointment so that we can help to safeguard with this in mind. Vin is partial to a peanut!

​

Please note that a cat lives at the property, and likes to rub against people. She is not permitted to enter the music studio. Whilst every effort is taken to eliminate her hair from the furnishings, this isn’t always entirely possible.

​

4.0. Intellectual Property

Vin Leone Guitar Tuition has developed, and continues to create, unique learning tools and materials for paying students. These include practising guidance, techniques, styles and bespoke transcription services.

​

These materials, in the form of PDF, printed copy, video format etc. should not be shared without our explicit consent. They have taken a lifetime to formulate and test, and an unprecidented number of hours to turn into physical copy. We request that any interested parties make their own purchases from us directly.

Agreement to these Terms & Conditions is assumed through attendance of appointments.

Failure to agree with these Terms & Conditions will, unfortunately, result in the cancellation of your appointment(s).
